Bespoke Steel Memorial Benches
Eternal Benches creates personalised steel memorial benches that turn photographs, words and meaningful details into a lasting place to remember. Every commission is designed with the family or organisation and made to order in our Doncaster workshop.
Why choose a steel memorial bench?
Steel gives us the freedom to make the back panel part of the memorial rather than simply attaching a small plaque. A portrait, landscape, hobby, emblem, poem or personal message can be incorporated into the bench as one considered design.
The finished bench is professionally powder coated to protect the steel and create an attractive, easy-care surface for outdoor use. Its suitability and fixing method still depend on the location, exposure and requirements of the landowner.
What can be personalised?
- Laser-cut portraits developed from suitable photographs
- Names, dates, inscriptions, poems and meaningful quotations
- Hobbies, occupations, pets, landscapes and local landmarks
- Military, club, school or community emblems where permission allows
- Colours and layouts chosen to suit the story and setting
A complete design-to-installation service
We begin with a conversation about the person or event being remembered. You receive a design proof and can request adjustments before fabrication begins. Once approved, the design is cut, fabricated and powder coated before delivery or installation is arranged.
We can also help you understand the information a council, cemetery, park or private landowner may request. Permission remains with the relevant landowner, so it is important to obtain written approval before a public-space installation.
Steel memorial bench prices
Bespoke benches currently start from £1,995. Final pricing depends on the bench size, design detail, finish, location and installation requirements. We provide a clear quotation for the agreed design rather than adding unexpected extras later.
